Scrapbook Stamp Socitey- Fairy Princess

Since Scrapbook Stamp Society is a great place to learn different tips, I try and include special designs or tips if I can come up with something.
The image you can find here. It is IMG688.
I actually used a cloud die to make the background here. It worked beautifully.
The shape I had drawn around Spellbinders Grand Labels One for the bottom part of the card. The paper is from Madeline Collection 6x6 Paper Stack. I used two different die cuts. Cheery Lynn- Exotic Butterflies Small, and Paper Smooches-Linked Hearts. The clouds were formed with Stampabilities Light Pink ink pad. The wings have Stickles Crystal on them for the sparkle. I colored her with my Copics. I added a bit of lace and pearls and that's it.

Hugs, and happy crafting,
Sandy.

My Besties International Challenge- Anything Goes

Something new and exciting is happening over at My Besties International Challenge starting this post.
It is Anything Goes using any image from any Artist as always, but now we are splitting up winners having the Big Winner and Runner Up to be a non DT member.
DT members are welcome to participate, but the prizes will be separate to give everyone a fair chance at winning.

We always have an "option theme" just to make things more fun, but you do not have to follow the theme what soever!
The "option theme" for June is Steampunk! The challenge runs from the 1st to the 27th of each month!
I have never really made a Steampunk card before so I really had a lot of fun trying to create something using a Steampunk image.
The papr here is from C M Wieland called Printery Collection. I used three different dies... Spellbinders- Postage Stamp, Cheery Lynn- Steampunk Corner, and Memory Box- Mini Gears. I used Tim Holtz- Vintage Photo, and Antique Linen to distress the card. I colored him with my Copics.
Do decide to come and participate! The prizes to win are always great! :)

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Color It Create It Show It Off

Hey there, it's that time again to be sharing a card that I made for Color It Create It show It Off. It is always Anything Goes, but soon there will be an "option theme" to the challenge too.
This little cutie is IMG831. I just love this image! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with her. I knew I wanted a fold card, but I wasn't quite sure what one until I saw this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkwyDPJgPOY
I didn't put it on the computer like she did, but it was really easy to follow along anway.
The paper is from My Minds Eye- Lost & Found called, Bush "Sweet" Bouquet Paper. The back of this pink checkered paper has little tiny flowers, hence the name. I have a stamp set I use quite often. It is Fiskars, Hello Fabulous. The image shape is from Spellbinders, Labels Ten. I colored her with my Copics then inked around the image with Tim Holtz, Vintage Photo. I used my white gel pen to put faux stitches around the border frame of the image and that basically is it!

I hope you come and play along with us for June!
Hugs,and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Scrapbook Stamp Society- Peek A Boo

Hi there,

It's my turn to share something I made over at Scrapbook Stamp Society. I decided to use this darling girl, Img963.
I just think she is absolutely adorable.

For this card, I just made a regular card like I normally would. It's a 5x5 card base. Then I just added a second piece of paper, scored it, then used double sided tape to join the two pieces together. I had seen cards like this made, but never have found a pattern for it, so I basically had to figure it out. It really was a fun card to make. The front of the card base, I stamped a sentiment, but when you open up the card, I then have all the room in the world to be able to write what ever I want to say to the person I am giving it too. I think that's kind of clever also.
Anyway, go and check out Scrapbook Stamp Society. It gives good tips from time to time which is very useful.
Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.
