What is organic??? That is the topic it seems over at My Sheri Crafts. My thinking is that it has to do with everything that is natural, like flowers, and vegetables, etc. Anyway, here is the card that I came up with this week! :)
Over at Jitterbuggin, Sherri had asked for us to use the color brown, cream, or white, and to add one accent color. The color I chose is black. Plus, a bow needed to be somewhere on our card. I hand painted the flowers on the right, and used a stamp on the front. The F is from storybook cart. I love how this card opens up! :)
I learned how to make a triangle tri fold card. It was fun! I will trim the ribbon on the bow once I am ready to send it to someone. This was so easy to make! :) The birds are from Give a Hoot cartridge, and the square scallops, and circle, I used a spellbinder.
I am entering this card over at the Jitterbuggin Challenge! You had to use blue, follow the sketch, and add something that represents snow, and of course, use your cricut on something! I also am entering it over at the Fantaulous Challenge also!
Now that I look at it, there is so much more that I could have done to this card, but I love learning something new! Right now I feel like a sponge and want to absorb everything new I come across! This was my first attempt at making a pin wheel card! :)
I made this for My Sheri Crafts challenge! The inspiration is New Years! I changed the date though to 2012 because since New Years already past, I could send this card to someone for this coming next year, lol!
This is my very first tri shutter card! I was so excited when I got the scorpal for Christmas! I have been wanting to make this for a very long time! The coloring isn't the greatest in the picture, sorry! It really is a more richer blues and browns in real life, but I just couldn't quite get the picture that I wanted!
I wanted to make a Valentine centerpiece to set on my kitchen table! I had seen this on a search of Mickey and Friends images and liked it so much that I thought I would try and do something similar! I used Shish Kabob sticks and sprayed them with silver to hold the Disney characters, and the black pipe cleaners! You can't tell by the picture, but this really sparkles! :)
